Fuji Rock: Back to Civilisation
What a weekend!!! Fuji Rock rocks!!!
I've had my shower, slept for hours this afternoon and have my washing machine working overtime. About to get picked up by Erik for a post-Fuji Rock quiet movie night, so briefly, here were the bands I saw:
Friday: little bit of Simple Plan, little bit of Soil and teh Pimp Sessions then Cake, Kaiser Chiefs (who rocked!), The Music, little bit of Charlottle Hatherley, missed Coldplay on purpose, bit of Rosso and then Foo Fighters!!
Saturday: Los Lobos cancelled, Julliette and the Licks (feat. julliette Lewis),
bit of Leyona, Dachambo (absolutley wicked), Maximo Park, Tokyo Ska Para, Asian Dub Foundation, Beck, Fatboy Slim and after, Towa Tei DJ set
Sunday: Went up the gondola, Magic Numbers, Ego Wrappin', Aqualung, Los Lobos acustic at the British Council, Futureheads, Beach Boys, Royksopp, Moby, Strange Love Psychedelico on TV, New Order, Primal Scream and after Peter Hook DJ set

uhmmm wherever! debs you can always drive my car. eh? bus would be easy tho. I'm spending so much time in Niigata in two weeks though I might stay away till then cuz i'm a loooooooser.
I don`t think I will be wandering far from Kakuda Beach for the whole of Saturday and seeing as though it is without question the best looking beach in Niigata(Kate should be able to testify to that) you are all advised to join me... Its also 20 minutes from Niigata city and so the festival will be easy game from there...
right, turns out they've moved the dancing this year so it's now on monday annoyingly, dunno why. So sunday is just watching them carry the float sand whatever, no free yukatas for us!

I went a bit nuts with the camera and took close to 700 photos so sorting them is goign to take a bit of time. Also, when I have sorted them, uploading might be a problem. For some reason, I can't access my site from my home connection so I need to plug my PC in somewhere else. Any offers?
Dancing on Monday? But I they can't do that, I have to do teh seminar! I want my free Yukata!!

martie, i hvae ure custard creams, though i might eat em while i watch the telly....can i tell u ive not watched so much telly in all my life...but only coz im stuck in wales ok...im not really this sad. and RURAL wales at that......house in middle of valley type thing.
