At 5.56pm on Saturday 23rd October a massive earthquake shook the Chuetsu region of Niigata Prefecture. Two more large earthquakes struck the same area within the next 45 minutes. The epicentres were located between Tokamachi and Ojiya. These are some of the photos I took in the days after the earthquakes.
