The bank holiday on the 9th October made for a long weekend and the perfect oppertunity to get out of Niigata for a short break. Having done Nagano two weeks ago, Keiko and I headed east into Fukushima prefecture to see the historical Aizuwakamatsu and, weather permitting, climb Bandai-san.
